Spot of Gardening? – A Very Detailed Garden Cake

This was a birthday cake created for a gardening enthusiast. He loves his vegetable plot and tending his fish in his pond as well as pottering in the shed. I incorporated all these details with the added luxury of the shed and fancing being crafted from Belgian chocolate – yum!

On a cake like this, it’s all in the detail; Ivy growing over the shed, doves on top; birdbath with blue gel water, climbing plant and bird; vegetable patch with carrots, spring onions, cabbages and pumpkins; pond with rockery and water lillies; cobblestone path with a flower border; rustic fencing and even a hose and watering can with water-effect residue.
